I always end up booking at CBGB because it's central to a lot of my friends, easy to get a date booked there, & the owners are really nice. downside is that it's always 21+. i like sinkhole for the vibes & all ages aspect but it feels hard to get out to sometimes; i have to really want to be at the show to end up there.
((not trying to make this a hater thread just curious on other people's thoughts on venues. why do you book or go out to shows where you do?))
kerr foundation is reliably great, and i love how performers can use different parts of the space. there are lots of wandering around opportunities nearby, too, so it's easy to take a step out for a breather, check out the barges

this couple used to! but yeah we should bring it back. maybe i'll get a video camera + tripod
